About
Planned from experience, not assembled from templates
BaraatPlan.pk is written and edited by a small team that has planned and coordinated real Pakistani weddings, and keeps every budget figure grounded in what families actually spend. Multiple functions, joint-family decision-making, and regional pricing differences are treated as the normal case, not an afterthought bolted onto a Western wedding checklist.
Why an eight-stage timeline
Most generic wedding checklists list dozens of tasks with no sense of sequence, which makes it hard to know what actually needs attention right now. We organize everything around eight checkpoints, from 12 months out through the week after the wedding, because the order those decisions get made in matters as much as the decisions themselves.
How the checklist remembers your progress
Ticking an item off is saved in your own browser, so it's still checked when you come back. Nothing is sent to us or shared with anyone else; it's purely a convenience stored on your device.
Corrections and feedback
Wedding costs and vendor norms shift over time and vary by city. If something on our timeline doesn't match what you're seeing while planning, let us know and we'll take a look.
